A few weeks ago my cousin gave me some old bodies and lenses, i just picked up some adapters that let me put them on my 7d body.

Brighton Tear Down

Spent today tearing down the park with the Brighton crew. It was a long day, but a ton of fun. To all you kids hating on Brighton for (insert whatever), you can stuff it, because I've ridden mountains with no parks or a park with no crew, or a crew only on the weekends, or a lazy crew who rakes every other day. You kids have a dedicated crew that swaps features daily, builds new things throughout the season and rakes your park twice a day. You're spoiled. Be quiet.

Plus they work hard when no ones watching and put in those extra hours to make it happen.

32 day at Brighton

After spending my afternoon and evening helping setup this possible debacle, it was time to ride it. i took a few laps and realized hey, i should probably write about this for yobeat, so i emailed brooke greery on the hill and within 5 minutes she got back to me and said "go for it!" I LOVE PUNCTUAL PEOPLE WHO ARE EASY TO CONTACT IT MAKES LIFE SO MUCH EASIER. so i shot away and had to squeeze in my runs, thanks to brian cook for lettin me squeeze in my last run which landed me in 6th place. HOORAY! March 1st dawned early, i got up and headed up to Brighton for a side country mission with Parker Duke and Sean Lucey. Shot a few photos, nothing that turned out too amazing. After that, Sean headed off and Parker went to help park crew finish up the banked slalom course for the next day's festivities. Me being lame and not wanting to ride park by myself decided to help parker and his friends. several turns, a few rails, 5 hours and a sunburn later it was mostly ready.

The Big Le Powski

on February 27th, i participated in a really fun event called the Big Le Powski. it's a day of workshops at Brighton resort and it is a lot of fun in the sun. i did the morning beacon workshop and the afternoon photo workshop. i had been expecting cloudy skies, so i was pretty happy with this day. thanks to Jay Beyer for all the help.

all is well on the Utah front, the room is small, but the snow is deep.

No job yet, but a season pass to Brighton and 5 ft of new snow means happiness

Nate Chismar, one of my friends from Durango, also happened to make the move to Salt Lake City this year, today we took some pow and park laps on the first sunny day (read not snowing) day in almost two weeks

a few weeks ago Mom, Dad, Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Sharyn came down to Durango. It was a great couple days, we did a bit of driving in the mountains and a little off roading, but we got to see some really beautiful places, and i got to show them the places and things i love about colorado.

every year i have to make this epicly not fun drive, but it's always best in the fall. it's still warm, it's sunny, and you don't have to worry about homework yet. it's just me and a car full of my junk, trying to drive as fast as possible to durango.
it's basically all desert, the whole way, get used to it

but there's some good sights
wear some comfy clothes cause you're gonna be sitting in them for a while, my super bro driving outfitseriously, this place isn't that bad
again, no photoshop, it's that red, actually redder when you're standing on it

I have a really wonderful Aunt Wilma who lives in Greenleaf, Idaho. it's a bit out of the way and pretty isolated, so it's always fun to go see her. and despite her size, she's the most active little fireball of a woman i've ever met. seriously she could knock you out.
i bet draplin would love this, you know where you're at and who to respect when you see this outside
